G'day all, I'm Wayne and this is my first Banjo and my first blog.
I've always loved the sound of the Banjo and have been wanting to learn to play for years. Well I finally did it, I picked up a Banjo a few days ago. Its a Master craft Player Series Deluxe Lefty. Yeah I'm a south paw.
I've been playing around with it, trying to get comfortable with it. I'm looking into taking some lessons at oneof the local Music Shops not far from me. I've heard good things about them/ That way I can get the basics down and proper way to hold and wear the picks etc. I figure, best to learn the right habits out of the gate rather than having to fix wrong ones later. I'm pretty eager to learn and i know it's not gonna happen over night, but picking it up is the first step.
So with that I'd like to say Hi all and hope to hear and share our common interest.

Just a regular Joe, woking for a living. I enjoy good music and good people. I've always loved the sound of the banjo, form bluegrass to blues. Been wanting to learn forever, so i finally took the plunge. Picked up a Mastercraft Lefty a couple days ago and have been discovering it since.
