Born in southern part of West Virginia; graduated from West Virginia University, retired from US Army Aviation and now I make flight simulators in Orlando. My first guitar was a Stella in 1963 and I have been entertaining myself ever since. In 1964 I took all of the money I had in the world ($295) and bought a 10 year old Gibson Les Paul Custom in Fredricksburg, Virginia. I passed it to my son in 1992 and it is still in the family today.... worth a little bit more than what I paid for it.
