I went to a bluegrass festival at fifteen... almost ten years later after remembering the experience I hooked up with a bluegrass band and musicians that were deep in the scene (Larry Benefield and Angie Hawkins) and started to play.. They got me a mando which i was able to do a show on in one month. Then a banjo... the banjo feels natural considering I was mostly a finger picker on guitar. I can keep up with any jam session and know all basic chords and rolls. I learn quick. But I'm gonna master this banjo (Banjolina Jolie) :)
