I started playing banjo in 2003 when I walked into the Trading Musician in Seattle, Wa...I picked up a used banjo with no name on the headstock and just started pickin' away...I bought it for $200 and let a girl borrow it after a Phish concert...it was never seen again. I've been known to cruise around various festivals and love to play banjo in a major dust storm. Family roots out of Oklahoma is where my pickin' and a grinnin' comes from. I grew up in the Northwest in the little town of Pomeroy, Wa somewhere between the Blue Mountains and Snake River.
