Banjo building, set up and repair

Have an old banjo with no identifying marks. It's a project, took it apart today and would welcome any advice on repairing it. The drum part is 10 11/16 diameter, had a head from skin (torn and need replaced., approx 29 inches long. Four string adjusters. Will attempt to post pics once I am more familiar with site. It's nothing fancy, but was a relatives and thought I would see what I could do with it.
