Hi all. I recently traded a guitar of mine for another guitar and a banjo. On the dowel stick of the banjo it says "Geo. C. Dobson 290 Shawnut Ave Boston, Mass" "Victor" "specialty".
I've seen limited info online, but would like to learn more about this instrument. I don't play but have always wanted to.
I was told in might be late 1890s.
can anyone fill me in on this banjo, brief history, value?
