50 banjos for sale

Wednesday, February 6, 2013

Hello

My name is Michael Heard.....my father played and collected banjos for 50 years.  He has passed and I am charged with selling them for my mother.  There are 52 banjos of which at least 40 are pre WWII.  Bacon, Paramount, Vega, Weymann, MayBell,...........etc. (no Gibson, except a “The Gibson small banjo”.

We also have several banjo necks and misc. parts that we don’t always know what they fit.

We are mostly interested in selling the entire collection---probably worth over $100,000.00 asking price for just the banjos.  I am in the process of organizing the banjos in a list with pictures to advertise, but I am also dealing with many other collectables at the same time and this is not something done in haste.

Please call or reply if you have interest.

Thank you,

Mike
