Hello everyone,
I am hoping someone can help me, or at least point me in the right direction.
For as long as I can remember I have wanted to learn to play the banjo, my husband bought me a beautiful 5 string a couple of christmases ago, and I found a teacher locally, after a few lessons he had a problem with his hand and couldn't teach any more, then I moved away, and to cut a long story short I need a new teacher.
I live in a small town more than an hour south of Calgary, Alberta and have tried in vain to find someone to teach me. I was wondering if there was a 'virtual school' that I could access through Skype or similar?
I have bought a couple of DVD's and they are good, but can't tell me if I am holding my hands right, or if it sounds right, or even if I am in tune!!!
Anyhow I will post this in the hope that someone knows someone etc...
Thanks
Liza
