I just found out The Banjo Newsletter has published my banjo arrangement of "Runaway," Del Shannon's 1961 rock-n-roll hit. It appears in the November, 2017 issue and can also be seen/heard online at www.banjonews.com.
This is my third arrangement to be published in The Banjo Newsletter. The two previous tunes were the theme from the movie, "The Good, The Bad And The Ugly" and "Hernando's Hideaway" from the musical, "The Pajama Game."
A big thank you to Adrienne Lewy (Adylew here on the Banjo Hangout) and Donald Nitchie for helping me write out the tab!

Arizona Scruggs-style banjo picker, who plays by ear (tab just confuses me!). Therefore, MURPHY HENRY IS MY HERO! When it comes to playing backup, I firmly believe less is more. When it comes to playing lead, I believe the melody should be recognizable (too many notes just clutters up the tune). ...and no, I don't plant my ring finger...I let it flail about. ****
