I stopped at a garage sale near me and a man whose father had passed told me he had banjos. 3 nice old banjos. The fellow said when he was a boy his dad bought one which is an older fancy Morris with much inlay from Ralph Stanley,he was there. The kicker is he had his dad's cancelled check from where he bought it from Ralph at Ottawa Bluegrass Festival in Ohio,which Ralph and the band attended. He wanted to know the value. I figured without the history $800-$1200 range, but with the story and check to prove it?
