Recently, my epiphone mb100 banjo stopped staying in tune. I can watch it get out of tune as I play it. I put on new strings and the second and third strings kept slipping. All 5 strings are making a subtle yet annoying buzzing sound. I need to replace the tail piece because I stripped the screw to keep it in place-so I think that's why it's buzzing. but I don't see why the strings won't stay in tune or why they are slipping. Can the tail piece cause the strings to get out of tune too? All of these problems started to occur at the same time so I think there's just one cause, but I don't see why the tailpiece would cause all these problems. Any advice appreciated!
