Neck does not align to tension hoop

Hi,

On closer inspection I have noticed that my banjo neck does not align properly with the neck slot on the tension hoop. All the hoop brackets are in line with the shoes on the rim. Its just the neck is not dead centre with the hoop neck slot.  Any ideas please ?
