I ordered and received a Mike's Banjo Mute this week. I purchased the 5 String Standard Version for my banjo. I had the opportunity to put it to work yesterday and have to say it is outstanding! The strings are muted to about the level of an acoustic guitar and I really like the tone produced (wasn't sure what it would sound like). I love the fact that I can now practice and play without waking up the rest of the household or disturbing their daily activities. I love the fact that it attaches to the top of the bridge. After reading the reviews I did not want to take the chance of moving the bridge around with the other type of mute which basically slides onto the bridge pushing up the strings from below. Thanks for a great product. It was delivered with a little bag for storage and was delivered to my home in Florida from Utah in just a couple of days with free shipping. Thanks again - love the mute!
