I want to build a banjolele and think I have most of it figured out but still am stumped on one of the basics...It is best to buy a head with skin and all? On most pictures I've seen there is a metal ring that goes over the head to hold it down. The "j" bolts hold this ring to the body. My questions: Where does one get this metal ring and how many "j" bolts are optimum for a 8" head?
