Hello, I've been searching for hours for a replacement tuning peg for Classic Goodtime Special Resonator 5 String Banjo from 2000-2001?(missing serial# sticker in rim). My daughter inherited this banjo from her Dad and want we want sell it, but one plastic tuning peg/button is broken off. I've contacted Deering and they told me to replace all the tuning pegs with Dovers, but I'd need to drill through the headstock to make the holes bigger! Not an option! I've searched high and low for hours trying to find a replacement tuning button or tuning peg or tuning assembly to match what's on there. Thank you to anyone who can point me in the right direction! It's odd because these tuners look like ukulele tuners to me, that's the closest I've been able to find. The banjo sounds so sweet, (i'm a guitar/uke/celtic harp player but have been having a bit of fun with this banjo!) I'm new to this site and cant figure out how to attach/post a photo of the tuning pegs? They are rectangular white plastic and come out the side, like guitar tuners.
