Interesting in learning clawhammer punk-style banjo. I wanna have an "Old-Time" / New wave sound. I took on banjo playing at the ripe young age of 35 in an effort to replace my guitar god brother, Jeffee Earth (Kiser) in our punkgrass band, Earth, Worm & Fire. He moved 2 hours away and I thought my very sub-par banjo skills would round out our punk sound rather nicely. In 2009 I had met our first drummer, Fire Myers, to do some accounting work for him. He had spent his years outside of the EWF fold in the most productive manner by touring with Dave Davies of the Kinks. He had become a very profecient Pro-Tools god and we concluded that it would be doing the world a dis-service by NOT recording and releasing more Earth, Worm and Fire songs for the voracious appetite of our die-hard fans. Currently we have stopped performing live to concentrate on our recording.......like the Beatles. We have been performing and writing music for over 30 years
