Started playing banjo when my Uncle gave me one when I was helping him move houses. The banjo he gave me ended up not being so good. (Bottle-top with really high action) but I had already started lessons and I guess you could say I was "hooked". I had never heard a banjo that I can remember before that... so I guess the banjo found me and not the other way around. :P
