I have loved Banjo music since I was a little girl. It just makes me happy. My dad was a self taught musician and would call and play all his new stuff for me. He passed away Sept. 2008. He lived in Washington State and I in Wisconsin. When I had to go home after his funeral I asked my family if I could take his Banjo home so I had something of his. I vowed to learn to play. Our local college has a continuing learning program and low and behold they added Begining Banjo to their schedule for the first time. It was meant to be. I am very new but I have a great teacher and I hope to be able to play Cripple Creek soon-one of my dads favorites! Happy Pickin to all!!!
