Barney and his banjo |
Name's not really Barney. Just got my first banjo over a year ago.My second one, 5 months ago. I have never played a guitar or a banjo but when I picked up a Deering 'Crow" in a music store here a while back I nearly fell over when I heard the sound I had created. It sang to me. My girlfriend bought me a Fender banjo for my 49th birthday then I bought a 'Flinthill' (china) for my 50th. I've been taking the odd lesson here and there but now that I was directed to this website ( by a guy named Don who I met on a flight to Bellingham, he was on his way to the Seattle May long weekend Blues/Jazz festival ) I can learn a whole bunch of stuff . Cool website. Thanks Don. I still want a Deering.
