Howdy! My name is Justin E. Walden, and I am from East Tennessee. I'm sure you can tell by the greeting. My musical heritage stretches back to age 8 when I first started to learn how to play the guitar from my dad. He was the greatest musical influence in my life and still is. After exploring the guitar, I decided to venture out and try the banjo, then the mandolin, and finally the fiddle. I never really got into sports during my childhood, but I sure drove my parents crazy with squeaky strings when I first began to play. Nevertheless, they were very patient, and I learned a lot from them. By and large, my full-time musical career started at around age 12 when I began playing with my family band, The Crystal Road Band. During my stint with my family band, I performed on average of 150 bookings per year. Here I alternated between instruments to fill in the gaps of lost members to keep the full sound of the music. After 8 years of on-stage performance and studio sessions, I gleaned many insights on musical styles and concepts that have helped me in my musical career. While performing with my family band, I was able to also perform with some of the most talented performers such as Paul Williams & the Victory Trio, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, and many others. I guess you could call me a sort of perfectionist, but music is an important part of my life, so there will be nothing out there in dot com world that is not the best. Currently, I am performing and teaching music lessons in the Tampa Bay Area in Florida. My hopes and dreams are really centered around music; therefore, it will always be a part of my career. New students are always a plus, as well as new venues at which to perform. I also am available to perform for studio sessions. Also, please check out my YouTube Page for more videos. More will be coming soon. There are also audio files listed here as well. Sign up for the mailing list to keep with the latest information. Thank you for visiting! - Justin
