Back to Cleveland, OH!

Sunday, December 29, 2013

The last blog post I made on here was over 5 years ago.

At that time, I had recently relocated from NC to OH and began a new job.

The new job had me working throughout the Midwest and East Coast and then relocating to Iowa for about a year.  Soon enough, in an effort to climb the proverbial corporate ladder, I relocated back to Ohio and forgot all about my banjo.  Life took me out to California for a few years and then life landed me back in Cleveland again a couple of months ago.

While life is filled with uncertainty...the banjo remains a constant source of pleasure and again I find myself returning to it again.  Hopefully, I'll stick around and allow it to remain a more permanent fixture in my life.

It's nice to be back here on the hangout and seeing y'all again.

Rob

I am 38 years old, born and raised in Northern Ohio. When I was 26, I decided to move to North Carolina to play bluegrass banjo. My brother bought me a Tommy Jarrell cd before I left and it was all OT all the way. I learned to play from Wayne Erbsen and spent the next few years playing with and making some great friends there. It's been a few years since then and I have returned to Ohio and am awaiting my next adventure...
