Hello,
I have an old AA FArland banjo in fairly good shape. The skin was torn when my brother dropped a book on it. I would like to know how I can get a new skin that will fit. I believe I can put it on myself.
I bought the banjo in 1959 when I was in college. I can no longer play it as I have arthritis in my hands.
I would consider selling it, but is has some flaws. Someone... before I owned it... drilled small holes along the neck so that the 5th string could be fretted by using screws under which the string could be tucked. The screws have been removed, but the holes are still there. The holes do not hinder the instrument from being played .
Thanks
Barry Fireman

I have had this banjo since I was in college. I am now 68 years old and have arthritis in my hands and can no longer play... even a little. My AA Farland was damaged.. the skin is torn. I want to replace the skin.
