I play banjo as a sideline to my guitar and bass playing. I grew up around bluegrass all my life. My dad, Jerry Stuart, is my biggest influence having raised me on Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and the Stanleys, in addition to his own Monroe style music. While I have played many other genres of music, I have come to realize that my roots will always be bluegrass.
