Smakula Fretted Instruments has been operating since 1989. We specialize in openback banjo restoration with a reputation for doing nearly invisible work on Fairbanks, Cole, Vega, and other banjos from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Of course we work on banjos from all eras as well as restoration of guitars, mandolins, and fiddles.
