In this, Tunetorial number 25, Dan "Clawdan" Levenson teaches the tune Rocky Pallet. The Skillet Lickers is the most often named source for this tune and you can hear them play an over 5 minute version on Skillet Lickers volume 1 (Document 8056).
As in past weeks, Dan plays the tune and break down sections on the fly. He has again included a fiddle version at the beginning so you can hear how it goes.
This tune is tabbed out in Dan's book Old Time Festival Tunes for Clawhammer Banjo (MB 20313) which is a collection of over 100 tunes that show up at most festivals and jams.
