Windsor Premier Wood Rim 1930's

From Stephen John Prior on 10/25/2026 2:48:50 AM

Just posted photos of probably the last configuration of the Premier Wood Rim. Because of the dark stained Maple and Chrome plated hardware my guess is it dates to the 1930's. The Maple rim has a bevelled top and brass rod tone ring.. Tuner buttons appear to be some type of plastic possibly Bakelite. It's a fine surviving example and player.

Hi Steve, the inlays say Premier No 3, the peghead shape says No1, and I can`t see the adjuster that defines a Premier. is it my eyes or is it in fact missing ?

Hi Derrick. No it's not missing. This one doesn't have and never has had an adjuster fitted and is completely original. Just stamped "The Windsor" on the peghead.
