I just installed a Virgil Lawson Sinker Maple bridge on my WL and it's a winner. The tonal character is that the mids and lows are enhanced and have a fuller timbre and the highs (which are never a problem on a WL) remain about the same. The overall change is that the banjo sounds more well balanced and very rich. The fourth string is awesome now and sort of reminds me of George Benson playing jazz guitar in On Broadway.

It doesn't have quite as quick of a decay as the Big Foot bridge so the note separation isn't quite as good, but still overall it sounds warm and very pleasant.

	Crusty says: 12/30/2013 4:20:13 PM I just received and tried out Virgil's Bullfrog bridge at 2.1 grams and a height of .656 and it's even better than the Sinker Maple. My whole banjo resonates and quivers like a wet puppy now. Seriously folks if you want to find out what your banjo really has in it, try one of Virgil's bridges. Man this thing sounds good!
	Crusty says: 5/29/2014 9:13:58 AM I've recently installed a Sullivan Roasted Maple bridge and for overall balance and tone I like it very much. It's still on after a month - so that tell's ya somethin'.
