Would anybody have some info about a fretless banjo maker called Roy Patrick ? My memory is very hazy about the place and the name. I think I went to his place around Sugar Grove to pick up a banjo around 1969 . I still have that banjo and still like to play it. It is a typical mountain banjo . It has 27.5-inch neck with wooden pegs, a 10-inch wooden rim and a 5-inch hide stretched over a truncated coffee box . The back plate has a central hole of 1.25 inch surrounded by 5 1-inch holes. It is tainted light brown. There are 3 photos of it in my homepage. (I added the flowers on the hide and are therefore not original ).
Any info would be welcome ! Thanks.
