October Event - 30th October

Hello again.

The next Banjo Club event is on Tuesday 30^th October. Usual time (from 8 pm), usual place (Red Lion Ossett).

I'm delighted that we could have three new members joining this month:

Albert

Roger and a friend of his

So welcome along guys, I hope you enjoy it.

I’d suggest starting with the playlist we had for the cancelled September event, as follows:

Blackberry Blossom

Old Joe Clark

It would be great if as well as playing, you can come up with the list for November, maybe look at adding new tunes - I'm working on a Whisky in the Jar tab that Albert gave me that might go down well.

I won’t be able to attend this month unfortunately, as I am out of the country, so have a great night and I hope to see you all in November.

Can I ask that people confirm here if they are or are not attending as someone will need to contact the pub if we need to cancel – Richard or Andy P can you do that please if necessary.

	Beer Junky says: 11/4/2012 2:14:24 PM I ended up called away on business at the last minute so wasn't able to attend (apologies to Andrew as well as I didn't have a chance to let anyone know). I do hope it took place and got a half decent turnout. i can't make November as I am in Bristol that week (work) Simon

Apologies to all for my memory. We had a chat and slow pick. The new guys are experienced musicians and could vamp a good backing. Must learn the chords. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
