Hi all.....I have a Tranjo Express that should be shipped today or Monday...I asked Sam to do the neck with an ebony fingerboard and I'm anxious to see it. I live in Montana and really enjoy attending the American Banjo Camp near Seattle. I would like to also attend camps in the East, which will require flying....one of my least favorite things to do. I don't want to check my other banjos or hassle carry-on with the larger instruments....even though I know a lot of people do it.....Question....how do you think a tranjo would do at camp....I don't plan on performing....just attending clinics and jams....I'm a beginner jammer so I won't be looking for a ton of volume....Thanks, Rick

	Grum says: 9/20/2013 5:25:27 PM I've taken my Tranjo 6.0 to several camps because I ride a motorbike and it's very easy to pack on the bike. For a clinic it's fine and certainly beats lugging a full tone ring banjo around to the various venues but ... at a jam with more that a few instruments it's pretty much inaudible. That be a good thing if you're a beginner!
