I just picked up a Lanikai Hardbag Baritone Ukulele case for my Tranjo 8.0. I've posted some photos on my page in case any one has been looking at this case and wondering how it would work for a Tranjo. I'll also post some observations here.
It seems to be a well made case with at least 1" thick dense padding all the way around and 3 moveable foam pads. It also has nice back pack straps and two sturdy handles. The fabric appears to be coated on the back - I don't think water could get through the fabric. It is called a Hardbag, but I would say it is more like a very sturdy gig bag. It does seem to have rigid plastic in the sides (along with the thick padding) to help keep it from crushing though. My Tranjo 8.0 fits snug in it top-to-bottom and side-to-side around the body.
For some this case might be overkill for a Tranjo, but I plan to carry mine on my motorcycle, so the extra padding and rigidity this case offers over other gig bags I researched is very welcome.
I got mine for $49 shipped on eBay from Butler Music which was the best price I could find at the time. Hope this info helps someone.
