Hello,

I am a clawhammerer with a Gold Tone Tranjo. I've currently got some Nylguts on it - quiet but interesting. I'm thinking about going back to metal strings.

Question - will it take heavy strings?

Can you help Mr Farris, or should I contact GT direct?

	sdfarris says: 1/31/2011 11:47:14 AM A Gold Tone Tranjo should take heavy strings with no problems. The neck has a 2-way truss rod for reinforcement. You can always tweak the truss rod if the neck begins to bow a little.
