Hi All,
Newbie to the group here. I recently started playing my TB a bit. Took it to our Irish session, and it was hard to hear. It's an unmarked, 17-fret, pie plate TB that has a wonderful feel and action. It's just too quiet.
I have Octave Mandolin strings on it, which I love when I play at home. Would their be an increase in volume if I went with some other strings? I tightened the head slightly, which seemed to make it a little brighter, but being a newbie, I don't want to get too carried away with that adjustment.
All ideas and thoughts are welcome. Thanks!
Larry
