SBC postscript

From ChuckJo on 3/22/2011 7:18:40 PM

Hello Friends,

Just a note to say "Hi" and thanks.  SBC is like a tidal wave for me.  I can see it approachingand then suddenly it is upon me and I exhilerated and exhusted at the same time, and then the tide pulls out, and I am relieved to have lived through it all, but sad it is over.

I got to say "hello" to some of you, and to play with some ohers.

Thanks for supporting us!

Your Weary Friend,  Chuck

I appreciate all the work that must go into it. The logistics of getting the instructors (and their instruments and companions) in from all over the country, and back home again, must be a large undertaking, in itself. Thanks, Chuck!

Get some sleep Chuck! Thanks so much for you efforts without which so many would not have had such a marvelous opportunity. It was just amazing to see so many very happy people who at the same time were eaten up by insects and had their brains bashed out by a deluge of information, guess you've got to be a little crazy to play banjo. Can't thank you enough.

Hey Chuck,

I've been to all of the camps so far, and this one was the best. I can't say enough good things about Paul Brown, Mac Benford, Greg C. Adams, and of course. Ken and YOU. Thanks for all your efforts.

~John

This was my first SBC...and I had a ball. The weather was nearly perfect, the venue excellent (except for the ticks) and the people (teachers, students, caterers, etc.) were awesome.

Thanks Chuck (and Ken) for a great camp. I hope I get to come back!
