Ok Guys,

So how would y'all like to go about sharing licks? I figured one way we could do it would be for one of us to post a recording of a lick, and then all dive in and come up with variations and or additions to that lick till we've done it to death?

Any suggestions?

	phwill says: 2/1/2011 8:21:01 AM Not bad, Chris. Maybe for those of us that are recording challenged a tab of the lick would work? Another suggestion would be for one (or more) of us to suggest a tune and then get everyone's input on a break measure by measure. Just thinkin' out loud. Thanks for starting this one, by the way. It looks like it could get pretty interesting. Paul

	Wes Lassiter says: 2/6/2011 10:38:46 AM What you do if you have a video cam and mic in your computer is you down load the free software on the chat page site and hook up. You also can share tab or pictures on a space provided. It seems hard but really is really easy once you try it, Maybe we need to set up a time at the non peak hours on the weekend or Sunday evening. Quite a few are there just to converse and sometimes share ideas but it might be a good way to have live interaction with our group. Sorry I took so long to get back to you Chris

I think that would probably be the best way of sharing licks with each other, especially if we can have like a conference with multiple members around all at once! The only problem I can see is that maybe not all members will have a webcam etc. Maybe there would be a way of recording the chat sessions we have then post them up as a video here on the group homepage for the other members to learn from, comment on and share their thoughts and licks????????????? Ok I'll get on the chat pages and see whats what, I'll post up a new blog soon with regards to a conference "Scruggs Style Lick Sharing" session. I'm quite excited now!! Well done Wes.
