I know I said I was going to move all my blogging to this group but I really find it hard to compose new blog posts in this narrow spacing. I feel like I'm operating a newspaper linotype machine. shrdlu anyone?

This one is on setting a schedule for daily practice. And it is a subject important to everyone using this group and BHO and playing not only the banjo, but any instrument. Give it a read over, and then, come back her to ask question, make comments, suggestions, or tell me I've no idea what I'm talking about.
The original for the blog post went up on the Clawhammer & OT forum on 1/22/12 i a thread titled "Productive Practice". Which should be visible on the HO for a week or so.
If someone knows any special methods they use to practice, or memorize, post them here for the group and you might even find your method in the next edition of RSB. I'll steal from anyone. And when you get right down to it, I'm pretty sure I've learned as much from my students as they have from me. That is why I love teaching.
