Okay - anyone know how>

I was hoping others would be posting videos of themselves playing here, especially playing tunes from RSB but playing any old time tunes at all would do.

The original idea for the group came out of a BHO thread a couple weeks before the holiday and I guess everyone forgot that the thread was about having a way to show tunes in action. Several people were interested in doing so back then but since then there has been a resounding silence on the subject.

So I figured "It's My group - I gotta get the ball rolling. But I've discovered that I have no idea how to link to off BHO material, or even to material on the BHO.

Can anyone enlighten me? I suspect that you will also be enlightening others. I know that even if I figure it out on my own there is no way I can logically pass this material on to others, because I'm a technof***up and still think this whole process is magic - and probably black magic at that.

	MajArcher says: 1/15/2012 2:57:58 PM To answer your question about linking, when you post a new comment there is a link button among all the other formatting options where I imagine you would put the URL of the link that you want to point to. However, in replying to a comment like I am, the formatting option are not available. HTML may work but most of us probably are not well versed enough in it to actually do it.

I see people do it but don't quite understand what exactly they are doing with their playing and how it works to complement the fiddler. Would that be OK?

If a video is publicly posted, I don't see why a link to it would be considered to break any laws or create any situation where the original would lose anything. In fact the original would be used for viewing and it would gain hits from this group - I just gotta figure out how it works!

Often when looking up how a tune is played compared to what's on the tab, it never matches and I'm not sure how it's supposed to sound (ie. RSB CC is not the versions I see on YouTube, but is the version I'm practicing, etc). Would be nice to see and hear exactly what I'm practicing.

Is it possible that no one actually plays tunes the way Mr. Woodchuck tabs them? Lets go folks there is an audience out here waiting.
