I know we have discussed this before but....bluegrass clubs, casual, in Japan besides Rocky Top..prefer somewhat proximity to Tokyo

For sure Back in Town in Akebonobashi area of Tokyo. Live music nightly, International stars perform there. They have a website to check the schedule. June starts festival season as well

They need reservations if you want a bungalo so sleep in. The campground needs no reservations and tickets can be bought when you arrive if you are going to camp or stay for a day.

Hey Scott-and everyone, I am trying to make arrangements for The Asagiri Blue Grass pickin Party June 6 and 7,

transportation is the only issue now. If any one knows: I think I can take the train frm Tokyo to Fujinomiya Station, after that I'm not sure about the last leg to the site. One of the organizers is checking, but if anyone knows??
Also Scott, I am going to Nagano on the 9th, maybe spend the night on the 10th in Matsumoto and look around Matsumoto on the 11..if you are around it would be great to meet you. My e-mail is jnbanjer@gmail.com
