What a show at the Grand Ole Clubhouse on Saturday, 9/29/12. Our group member Cula and his sidekick Ken, the two a.k.a Texas Tea, shined. They had 14 songs ready to go but only did 8 of 'em 'cause there were 5 other duo bands on the schedule. Texas Tea drew the third spot. Their songs in order were as follows: Little Annie, Wildwood Flower, Fox on the Run, Medley: Soldiers Joy, Arkansas Traveler & Whiskey Before Breakfast, The Old Home Place, Turkey in the Straw, Daddy Played the Banjo and Bill Cheatham.
Since there were 6 bands, jam time was limited and not much to report about that.
There's nothing going on at the clubhouse this Sat., 10/13, 'cause of a special weekend bluegrass camping event [世附ﾌｪｽﾄ] in the nearby Tanzawa Mountains.
River of Time followed by jam-time is on schedule for the Saturday night of 10/20 at Clubhouse Non Non. That means Banjo Man and K-yama San will be there blazzing away on the strings. Y'all come!
