My son, 健, and I are going back to Yamate tomorrow, 8/25 Japan, to jam and practice with our friend Cula. This will be our 3rd visit to Cula's. Though we met 2 other times at Cubhouse Nonnon. Last week's Yamate Jam was a good one too, just like the first one. I was fortunate in that I got to jam 5 tunes with these 2 top notch pickers. My songs were, not necessarily in this order, John Hardy, Down the Road, Foggy Mountain Breakdown, Cripple Creek, and Bury Me Beneath the Willow. Easy ones I guess 'cause you should've been there to see and hear what Cula and Ken were rehearsing for their first Texas Tea show at Clubhouse Nonnon on 9/29/12. They worked on a medley too that's ready to go! This was a 4-1/2 hour session including a fantastic lunch and coffee break. Tomorrow, if we're lucky, a guitar picker from Spain will show up, and we'll be there at 1:00 pm ready to pick!
