I've been fortunate to live in Japan for over 12 years, and have found that Japanese are great fans of Bluegrass.  There are many great Japanese Bluegrassers, and Train 45, whose album cover adorns our group home page, is one of the great pioneer Bluegrass Bands.  This is a place to discuss up and coming bands in Japan, or to talk about upcoming Bluegrass events, or even to announce places to jam.

I spent a while in Japan a few years ago and met many Japanese pickers. They were wonderful. I even spent a whole weekend in Osaka with a family who had their own bluegrass family band. Good luck to you and your group. I will be pulling for you!!!!

Thanks Martha, welcome aboard! I just spent last week in Osaka, visiting my in-laws. The cherry blossums were amazing!
