So I mentioned setting up a jam in the west end of RVA and got a few interested parties.

If you would, please make a note here of who you are, what you play, your skill level and what days you absolutely are not available on the average week.

Also if you have access to any space. I have a small office that we could do a couple of people just to mess around, but nothing bigger. Of course parking lots and back yards are options to.

	Rbuhrman says: 9/16/2013 11:02:07 AM beginner (but I have a number of years experience playing guitar), I'd rather meet during the week....don't know of any space large enough, but I can check out our church and community club house. Bob Buhrman
	Yard Onion says: 9/16/2013 1:46:50 PM I have a hectic schedule to say the least but would like to get out to the jam. I'm an intermediate player; don't have any space to accomodate us; weekdays would work better for me too.
	Ric in Richmond says: 9/17/2013 11:53:00 AM Just found out the Belmont Rec Center, Henrico county has a brand new jam (as in tonight is the first night) at 7 -9 on the third tuesday of each month. 	Ric in Richmond says: 9/18/2013 8:32:11 AM After last night the director was very excited about meeting again and said he has it on the calendar. Up to us to fill the place. There will be an oldtime presence and a bluegrass presence if we make it happen. They have TONS of room. How did I miss you?
	Rbuhrman says: 9/18/2013 11:22:17 AM that means we have until Oct 15th to find out what is required to have a "jam" or hope they have people there who have done this before, when I showed up last night, nobody was playing, they were all talking. The BG Jam last February, they had dozens of groups, and you could just unpack your ax and blend right in, (I didn't play, and sure can't sing!) I'm going to commit to show up next Oct 15....hope you are coming too.

	Rbuhrman says: 9/18/2013 1:33:18 PM Guitar players are a dime a dozen, I've got two, and play them far better than the banjo....I know a guy that plays mandolin, but no fiddles.
