cant really seem to find any contemporary bands with banjo players that i like save like the less pirate-y blackbird raum stuff (not a huge fan of folk punk) i really like the faster old time music becuase the intensity is very relateable to me being that i like fast music of a more abrasive vein and the whole diy thing lines up as far as just using what you have and anyone being able to participate . does anyone have any suggestions? maybe check out your bands/tunes. my band as of now is all electric so i cant really say its very relevant.

	Zischkale says: 11/15/2014 12:04:52 AM There are bands playing old-time with a punk attitude, but it's hard to do the hardcore thing without distortion. The first thing that comes to mind is Six-String Yada, who do excellent covers of punk and metal tunes. Real unhinged? It's a niche thing, you might need to be the one who homegrows it.

	wattnboon says: 1/7/2015 11:52:43 PM maybe old time with the attitudes what im looking for. its pretty similair when you consider its just people having fun playing music for themselves and not as a monetary venture. some of the old time stuff ive heard is hyper-fast but its hard to track down.
