I don't yet have a fully electric banjo, even Deering doesn't make a fully electric plectrum banjo. I have played a fully electric 5-string and a tenor. Anyway, I am having an electric plectrum made for me. I'm looking for any suggestions and experience with pedals and FX on a fully electric banjo. I still want it to sound like a banjo, but also want the sound to be modern and rawkish. Anyone with advice on products, pedals, FX--I'd love ya for it.

	wattnboon says: 11/14/2014 8:59:04 AM i know someone who ripped a neck off a rover plectrum and carved a body for it and stuck a mustang pickup in there. it sounded ok. that being said if you use a bridge postition pickup the shift towards amplifying the more trebly frequencies would be a step in the right direction. just make sure when placing it to install it under one of the harmonic nodes by the bridge.
