So anyone else here get a lot of crap over playing the banjo? My friends who still only listen to punk are closed minded.

They just hadn't yet invented the safety-pin...

Electrify your banjo, get a fully electric banjo, put some anarchy symbols on the drum head and play it like a machine gun... they'll shut up and thrash with you. If any punk rocker senses you're unsure or trying to pose, they'll eat you alive no matter what you play. Own it, thrash on it, and don't give a F---. Then it's punk rock.
