One of the best shows I have ever seen is the 357 String Band. They are the reason I bought a banjo.

Split Lip Rayfield is another of my Favorites.

Next are Bad Livers (Danny Barnes) and then probably the Pine Box Boys

	kmanley says: 7/11/2011 4:42:42 AM Larry And His Flask are the absolute most fun band to watch live. They are non stop energy. Calamity Cubes are another great group that put on a great show, and they are some awesome guys! The Harmed Brothers are excellent songwriters, and have written some of my all-time favorite songs.

	Cousin Jack says: 9/30/2011 12:35:55 PM I like The Earl Brothers. They have something about them non-definitive that gives them a punk attitude. It's their bluesy/minor scales, slower paced songs, they all dress in black, they're not flashy, and their imperfections are what I like most about them. They have even been called "Goth" bluegrass. Some would say they're not punk at all, but there is an attitude from them that makes them stand out from standard, clean, perfect note-for-note, high speed professional IBMA bluegrass bands. It's as if they don't care whether or not they are better than others, they just want to sing their own songs and play for themselves. Like it or not.
	Mad Jack Gallows says: 6/18/2012 1:05:12 AM If ya like 357 Stringband, Jayke their mandolin player/vocalist left last year and formed Jayke Orvis and the Broken Band, and they're REALLY great. Where .357 start introducing electric instruments, Jayke & Co. keep it old school.They're playing here again next month, in fact. I'd definitely recommend them for anyone who likes .357 String Band.
