fall in love arriving next week

From Waltraud on 12/2/2015 12:42:25 PM

after an exciting few weeks anticipation I have my new fall in love coming from Prague to London next week. Having picked up s very nice Rich era rb250 last year in nyc I sold it for a good amount in the UK and put that towards a really top instrument. I'm too excited and desperately hope that Jardas reputation is lived up to. I could not think of a better buy for a UK based picker. If I lived stateside I would have gone Hatfield or Yates probably. Can't wait!

I'm pretty sure you are going to like the Prucha a LOT more than the 250.

Congratulations! You won't be disappointed. The quality of the build is second to none, the tone is beautiful and the playability is just fantastic. Fear not, you are going to enjoy the banjo!

Thank you folks! I must say that Pruchas reputation is so strong I was prepared to buy unseen. 😀

Good for you, Tim! The FIL inlay is stunning. Feel free to share pictures of your new banjo baby when it arrives!

Can I ask what the spec is, e.g. is it a maple? (Very envious and thinking of doing the same as you!)

It's maple, nickle and Prucha designed inlay on ebony with amber tuning buttons and tortoise binding& love n care and magic!

His tortoise shell binding is especially cool. He's the only maker who uses a thin strip of white binding under the tortoise shell, and the white makes all the colors much more vivid as a result. I don't know why American guitar makers didn't figure that one out decades ago.

stanger

Cool touch. Even if only symbolically, that vivid colour thinking will no doubt permeate my playing. If anyone is interested to hear some of my pickin I played on the Rockingbirds second alum, Dodgys album Three piece swuite, Danny and the Champions ' Stay True' and my band, Foghorn Leghorn, London UK! Soon to be Prucha infused .....
