Brainstormers House Concert, Friday 2/18, 8pm

Howdy All,
I'm hosting The Brainstormers for a house concert in the Mt Tabor area of SE Portland next Friday, 2/18. They are Tom Sauber, Patrick Sauber, and Mark Graham and were a headline act for POTMG last month. You can check them out at:

BTW all, I got a note from Tom Sauber today saying that the band is staying in Portland Saturday and are available for lessons if anyone is interested. Mark Graham is the best old time harmonica player alive AFIC, Tom Sauber is a fantastic old time fiddle and banjo player with over 30 years experience playing and teaching, and Patrick Sauber is a great bluegrass banjo player and flatpick guitar player. Great opportunity for one-on-one time with a master if anyone is interested. Scott

scott, sorry i couldn't make it to the concert last night, i went to a play that a friend of mine was in and she played her banjo as well!
how was the concert??

Hi Rachel, I'm a little tardy on this response, but the concert was great! They got in early and spent an hour and a half practicing in the kitchen before the show, so I sort of got a two-fer out of playing host. I didn't realize it before, but Patrick Sauber is also in Laurie Lewis's band, so he was up at Wintergrass performing with her last weekend. But I didn't make it to that. Scott
