Looking for an open back banjo under $550 with a nice "old time" sound. Any suggestions for banjos or stores within 30 miles of a decent selection to try some out? I am also contemplating taking lessons for frailing, anyone know a teacher in the portland area?

weeblegobble says: 2/21/2011 2:44:22 PM I ended up getting a Goodtime classic. Got one used for $400 on craigslist. It's been a fantastic instrument so far, and light years ahead of what i had. I also think I am going to maybe try and take lessons from Leela Grace. Thanks for all the help and info.
