Murphy Henry, creator of the learn-by-ear Murphy Method, is offering a weekend workshop in Portland, January 27 – 29.

Murphy’s DVDs, Banjo Newsletter columns and national workshops have inspired beginning banjo players across the country to learn how to make music on the banjo. She’s bringing her unique teaching style – and great sense of humor – to Portland for an all-levels workshop.

It starts with a meet and greet and slow jam on Friday evening, the 27^th, followed by a session from 10 to 4:30 on Saturday and 10 to 1 on Sunday. The location is 2204 SE 7^th Ave.
